Become a Non-Resident Fellow

The Institute of Policy Research and Analysis (IPRA) invites scholars, policy-makers, and senior professionals from every region (around the world) to apply for our 2025–26 Non-Resident Fellows position. We seek exceptional individuals whose work deepens understanding of — and solutions to — trade, governance and fiscal challenges facing Africa in the global economy. Relevant themes include (but are not limited to):

  • International trade and value-chain governance
  • Domestic resource mobilisation, taxation, and illicit financial flows
  • Public-finance and sovereign debt architecture
  • Agriculture development/productivity
  • Digital-economy regulation and fintech taxation
  • Climate finance and green-industrial policy

Fellows remain based in their home institutions while collaborating remotely with IPRA’s research network and contributing to policy briefs, peer-reviewed papers, and high-level convening.
