Objectives

• Have a clear understanding of the objectives of the Agreement on Trade Facilitation (TFA) and how it is structured;

• Improve your knowledge of trade facilitation provisions in the Agreement;

• Understand the flexibilities in the Agreement to meet the specific needs of developing and least-developed Members of the WTO;

• Explain the institutional provisions in the Agreement and the work of the Trade Facilitation Committee;

• Understand the interface between trade facilitation and supply chain performance.
