Trade Policy Courses

The Institute’s trade policy courses are designed around two main tracks, one for “generalists” who are interested in gaining wider knowledge of the working of international trade and another for “specialists” who are eager to develop their knowledge on a particular agreement or trade topic.

Tax Policy & Admin

The Institute’s Tax Policy and Tax Administration training program provides participants with practical tools, and systematic examples of their application to help participants formulate more appropriate tax policies to meet their national objectives, and tax administration for their unique environments.

Research Methods

The systematic approaches and techniques used to collect, analyze, and interpret data for academic or professional studies.

            Our short courses in Trade Policy, Tax Policy and Administration, and Macroeconomic Models are designed to provide targeted, professional skills that empower you to achieve your career goals. These courses reflect a broader IPRA Progressive Learning Strategy, which comprises two main training paths, one for “generalists” and another for “specialists”.  Each training path consists of a sequence of three levels:  basic, intermediate and advanced.

            You can find your course convenor details via myIPRAA:

            1. Login to myipraa.
            2. Select My Programfrom the side menu.
            3. Your course convenor details are listed for each course.
            4. Click the 'i' symbol next to the convenor name to access their contact details.

            To find the course convenor for a course you are not enrolled in:

            1. Go to Programs and Coursesand search for the course.
            2. Select the course from the search results.
            3. Click the Course Contactstab to reveal course convenor details.
            4. Click the course convenor's email address to send an email.

            When emailing course convenors or any teaching staff, you can typically expect a response within 48 hours during working days (Monday to Friday) during the trimester.
